Personal Brand Building Tips for 2025
dHello my friend! 👋🏼
Thanks for opening this email 🙂
Looking to amplify your personal brand this year?
Here are my Core4 strategies:
1) Turn your profile into a landing page that converts.
Stop treating your LinkedIn profile like an extension of your resume and storage utility for your existing network. You are so much more than both of those things and it’s important to share that.
Resume = What you’ve done, where, and when.
LinkedIn = Who you are, how you do what you do, and why.

Your personal brand is the combination of all these things.
It’s your personal story.
It’s your professional legacy.
Your profile should be optimized to reflect that.
2) Fill your feed with content & people who inspire you to engage.

The best way to grow your personal brand, especially if you’re just starting to focus on it, is to be active in the comments sections of other people’s posts that resonate with you.
Problem is:
LinkedIn has 1 Billion members but it’s rumored that only 25% of them are active monthly and less than 10% create content.
Learn how to find the right folks to follow so that you’ll always have some conversations you can participate in.
The comment section is gold for relationship building.
3) Establish core content categories that convert.
Now that your profile is in a great place and you know how to curate a feed that informs and inspires you, it’s time to think about what kind of content you want to be putting out there.
My recommendation is to put your content into 3 buckets:
Scope of genius content covers what you do, know, and problems you solve (as well as for whom). These are the posts you use to market your personal brand.
Fascination content covers things you’re passionate about beyond just what you do for a living. Identify some core topics that light you up and share them often. People love seeing others' passion.
Window into your personal world content is how you really let your network get to know you and make them want to come around to knock on your front door with opportunity. It’s more emotionally raw, highly relatable, and displays a bit of human vulnerability.

4) Optimizing your content creation and social selling strategy.
You’ve laid the foundation with your profile.
You’ve learned how to curate your feed to inspire you to network.
You’ve established your core content pillars to grow your authority.
Now it’s time to operationalize your social selling engine, because everyone is in sales & marketing now.
Whether you’re a founder looking for clients or an executive building your thought leadership brand to attract talent and opportunity, establishing systematic processes that make it easier to create content and optimize your efficiency are critical to your success.
You should have a personal tech stack of tools that make amplifying your personal brand and social selling much easier.
