Build Yourself a Team of AI Experts
ChatGPT Projects can function as a roster of on-call experts, from a virtual COO to a home repair advisor. Here's how to build yours.
One of the most underrated things you can do with AI right now is build yourself a roster of "experts" for the areas of your life and business where you don't have one on call.
I use ChatGPT Projects to do exactly this, setting up dedicated, ongoing conversations that function like specialists I can consult anytime, with context that persists across conversations.
On the home front, I've built out: a landscaping expert (when something's wrong with the lawn and you don't want to pay someone to tell you it's a watering problem), a plumbing expert, an electrician, an HVAC expert, a mechanic, a nutritionist, and even a parenting expert for those "is this normal?" moments.
For my business, the lineup looks more like a leadership team: a COO for systems and operations questions, a CMO for marketing strategy, a CFO for financial planning and modeling.
None of these replace an actual professional when you genuinely need one. There's a real plumber, real mechanic, and real CPA in my life too. But for the dozens of small questions that come up between those moments ("is this normal," "what should I try before calling someone," "how do I think about this"), having a dedicated AI expert on hand means you're not either guessing or paying for a consult on something minor.
The setup takes minutes. The leverage compounds every time you use it, because each "expert" gets better with context over time. It remembers what you've already told it, what's already been tried, what your specific situation looks like.
If you haven't built out your own roster yet, it's worth an hour this weekend. Future-you will use it more than you'd expect.
